There’s so much happening at the City of Armadale libraries during the October school holidays, there’s no excuse for children getting bored and restless at home.
Kids will enjoy a range of holiday fun, with activities like balloon twisting, magic trick performances and fun craft activities.
Begin with a trip to Armadale Library on Thursday 2 October, when balloon artist Aaron Smyth will teach the kids how to make some basic animals and swords. Two sessions are available from 1 to 2pm and 2 to 3pm, suitable for children from five years of age.
If your children enjoy making Lego they are going to love a sneak peek of our new Lego Encounters Club which will be starting next year. Visit Armadale Library on Friday 3 or Friday 10 October from 10 to 11am to join in circus and clown themed Lego building challenges. This session is suitable for children aged six to 12 years.
Everyone loves Bananas the Clown! Visit Seville Grove Library on Monday 6 October from 2 to 2.45pm and see Bananas the Clown perform magic tricks, tell stories and lots more during this special fun session - suitable for children from four years of age.
Enjoy decorating your own colourful bandana at History House Museum on Wednesday 8 October from 10.30am to noon. Children get to decorate their own bandana using potato stamps which they have designed. This session is suitable for children over five years of age.
Parents or carers must stay with their child during these events.
