The City of Armadale is inviting local users of the Seville Grove Library and the Champion Centre to share their ideas on the future use of the important community facilities.
Community input is being sought as part of a feasibility study into the current and future use of the facilities.
The Seville Grove Library offers a range of resources, including computers for public use, and programs that focus on children’s literacy activities. The neighbouring Champion Centre has a particular focus on supporting members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community through a range of events, programs and services.
City of Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM JP said community feedback was an important aspect of the study.
“Both the Champion Centre and the Seville Grove Library are valued services in our community and we want public guidance to ensure their future success,” he said.
“Ultimately, the study will consider how best to utilise the services to strengthen the community and address people’s interests, needs and aspirations in the future.”
