Do you experience difficulties with technology?

The friendly tech-savvy students from Dale Christian School are here to help.

If you’re stuck with an issue on your laptop, iPad, tablet, mobile phone or digital camera, these students can assist with answering any questions you may have at a series of Technology Buddies sessions at Armadale Library.

City of Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP said the sessions were a good opportunity for people to discover how technology could help improve their lives and connect them to loved ones.

“This is a great example of the community spirit found in the City of Armadale that surpasses generational boundaries.

“Technology can sometimes be intimidating and frustrating, but overcoming those barriers can open the doors to numerous benefits including increased connection with loved ones, intellectual stimulation and social activity.

“These tech-savvy youngsters can help you discover a world of possibilities at your fingertips, whether it’s using Skype or Facetime, taking photos and sharing them with family, or learning something new with mentally stimulating games,” he said.

The Technology Buddies events take place at Armadale Library every Wednesday from 12.30 to 1.30pm on 10, 17, 24 & 31 October and 7, 14 & 21 November.

Bookings are essential for these popular sessions. Call Armadale Library on 9394 5125 to secure your place.
