The second series of Boot Camp at the Armadale Aquatic Centre will deliver a physically and mentally challenging program run by qualified, professional instructors.

Mayor Henry Zelones said for those that are keen for a challenge, Boot Camp is the program for you.

Boot Camp is based on a combination of strength and cardiovascular exercises and will engage participants in the high intensity, military-style fitness program.

For motivating and energetic workouts Boot Camp is the answer, as you challenge your personal, mental and physical boundaries, with a range of exercises designed to get you energised and ready to tackle anything.

The instructors keep things lively by integrating push-ups, pull-ups, squats and other strength-builders, along with running and sprinting drills designed to increase speed and build cardiovascular endurance.

“The first series of Boot Camp @ the Armadale Aquatic Centre was well received by participants and we expect places to fill up very quickly,” said Mayor Zelones.

The one hour sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays for five weeks from Tuesday 3 February, at 5.30pm, finishing on Thursday 5 March.

Registrations close for the second series on 30 January.
