The Armadale Golf Course’s future as a valuable community amenity remains assured after the City of Armadale last week resolved to enter into a long-term contract for the operations and maintenance of the course with Golf Oracle.

Golf Oracle will lease the Armadale Golf Course for an initial 10-year period, with two subsequent five-year options.

Golf Oracle will assume responsibility for the operation of the course on a short-term contract from December until the final details of the lease are determined and it is endorsed by the Minister for Lands.

“The City has remained committed to retaining the golf course as a well-utilised and valued community asset,” Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM JP said.

“Identifying a suitable operator to work in partnership with the City is a big step forward and under Golf Oracle’s guidance, we are happy that the course will be operated in a manner that is financially sustainable for the City and the community.”

Golf Oracle has significant experience in maintenance and management of golf courses including long-term contracts at Embleton Golf Course, Maylands Peninsula Golf Course and the Rottnest Island Golf Course.
