Movies in the Park: Incredibles 2

Enjoy an autumn evening outdoors in the fresh air and natural beauty of Rushton Park in Kelmscott, where the Incredibles 2 (2018) will screen at 7pm on Friday 12 April.

Pack your picnic rug and hamper and bring your friends and family for an outdoor cinema experience.

Come down early to see the Armadale City Concert Band play themes from your favourite movies from 6pm. There will be kid’s activities, a fundraising sausage sizzle, and ice creams will be available to purchase.

This free event is a family friendly, smoke and alcohol free.

80s Flashback Movie Marathon

Residents from across the City of Armadale are invited to a free Flashback to the 1980’s Family Movie Marathon as part of the City’s Growing our Community consultation project.

The movie marathon will feature two classic 80’s family films, The Neverending Story (1984) and ET (1982), from 3pm at the Armadale Arena on Saturday 13 April.

Bring your picnic blanket or a beach chair and enjoy 80s themed activities including performances by the Armadale City Concert Band, free face painting and popcorn, and photo opportunities with well-known 80s characters. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

This event has a variety of accessible features, including a dedicated sensory space.

Representatives from the City will also consult with local residents to hear their thoughts on where they live, as part of the project.

The City is seeking feedback from local residents to understand the social issues within individual suburbs. Staff will ask residents what they love about their suburb and what they feel the main social issues are.

Tickets are free, but booking is essential for this event. There are limited tickets available and they must be presented on arrival, where attendees will also go into the draw to win one of six prizes including a $100 fuel voucher. Book at Eventbrite and search Flashback to the 80s Movies.

Due to the limited amount of tickets, if you are unable to attend after registering, please notify the event organisers to ensure that your ticket can be re-allocated.

Doors will open at 3pm. The Armadale Arena is situated at 4 Townley Street, Armadale.
