Movies in March is back for 2021.

Bring a rug, pillow and some snacks, and settle in with your family, a mate, or a date for the City of Armadale’s free family outdoor cinema experience in the park. We’ll even throw in the popcorn for free!

This much loved event will kick off on Friday, 5th March 2021 with Pokemon Detective Pikachu at Sheaf Park, Harrisdale. Pre-movie activities will begin from 5pm, with several community information stalls, including the Multicultural Communities Council of WA.

City of Armadale Mayor Ruth Butterfield said she looked forward to seeing the community come together for the event.

“The City is proud to offer family-friendly events like Movies in March free of charge for the community to enjoy.

“I encourage you to pack a picnic blanket and enjoy our relaxed outdoor cinema experience under the stars.”

This is a COVID safe, ticketed, family friendly, smoke and alcohol free event. Please note, no pets, candles or sparklers are permitted in the parks.

Residents are encouraged to walk or ride to the events. ACROD permit holders can park in the ACROD marked bays in the respective car parks. Please note the nearest parking facility at Sheaf Park, Harrisdale is the Stockland Shopping Centre. All venues are accessible via pathways and grass, and Accessible toilet facilities will be provided at each venue.
