Following on from the launch of NBN across the City of Armadale in October 2016, businesses located in the Forrestdale Business Park (FBP) will have connection to the NBN from Friday 5 May.

City of Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM JP said the business park continues to grow strongly and is home to a range of commercial, mixed businesses and industrial enterprises.

“In the last five years there has been in excess of $246.5 million worth of private investment committed in FBP, through a range of development applications and $215 million worth in land sales.

“The connection to the NBN network will be welcomed by many businesses in the park who have been frustrated with slow internet connection.

“Connecting businesses to high-speed broadband, on the NBN, is making the transition to world leading technology a reality.

“For the local small business community across Armadale, fast broadband can provide real advantages, from handling large volumes of data quickly to supporting technologies like online sales, cloud computing and video collaboration.

“The City will play a big role in helping the Armadale community thrive with NBN – we’re building a strong digital strategy focusing on education, business and community development.

“In this digital age, the speed and reliability of the NBN will go a long way to improving business productivity,” he said.
