The City of Armadale is hosting a party to celebrate the opening of the Harrisdale Pavilion and Playing Field.
All are invited to the free community event on Saturday 25 March, with a host of activities from 5pm and concluding with an outdoor screening of The BFG from 7pm.
Enjoy family friendly games and activities, wander through the new pavilion and meet the local groups in your area, grab a bite to eat from the Hawker’s Markets then enjoy a movie under the stars.
Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM JP said the Harrisdale Pavilion Opening Party will celebrate the completion of a project that was more than a decade in the planning and construction.
“We are looking forward to showcasing the wonderful facilities to the entire community,” he said.
“It’s one we’re justifiably proud of and we’re looking forward to showing it off at not only the opening, but many more community events to come.
“I encourage everyone to come along and help us celebrate the opening of the facility, and enjoy an exciting community event while there.”
