The City of Armadale is hosting two community workshops in June to discuss future plans for the Bob Blackburn Reserve Precinct and Gwynne Park Precinct.

Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP said over the next decade the City of Armadale will experience significant population growth and this will result in a need for additional community infrastructure.

“The City wants to speak with the community, sporting clubs and other stakeholders based around Bob Blackburn Reserve and Gwynne Park to determine how we can meet community infrastructure, services and public open space needs.

“We are hoping to identify what these reserves could look like in the future and how we can ensure the best interests of the clubs and community are met in a sustainable manner.

“These workshops are a great opportunity for members of the public to play an active part in the area’s rejuvenation and have input into this master plan document,” said Mayor Zelones.

Members of the public wishing to contribute to discussions are invited to attend the workshops:

Tuesday 2 June

Gwynne Park Precinct
