The City of Armadale invites you to visit the Open Studio Arts Trail in September and celebrate the talents of local artists living and working in the Armadale hills region.

The inaugural Open Studio Arts Trail is an interactive tour of the studios and works of local artists.

“Ten artists in the Armadale hills region will open up their private studios to the public to provide an intimate opportunity to appreciate their inspiring creative processes” said Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM JP.

“They are joined by the Armadale Society of Artist’s Art House where you will be able to see amazing artworks including painting, ceramics, sculptures and textiles.

“This is an excellent opportunity to celebrate our local arts community and visit the stunning region that has inspired much of their work.

“We are proud of our local artists, we have some great talent in our City that we want everyone to see,” he said.

There will also be an art exhibition at Genesis in the Hills, plus sculptural works at HopsScotch and the Araluen Botanic Park promoting the work of local artists.

The Armadale Hills Open Studio Arts Trail will run from Thursday to Sunday, from 17 to 20 September and 24 to 27 September, from 10am to 4pm.
