Once again the City of Armadale is surpassing all expectations with its recent growth figures.

The City approved 1806 new lots in 2014/15, a massive 10% increase on its previous highest recorded total of 1646 recorded in 2013/14.

The recent figures show that the demand for land housing and commercial investors in Armadale is incredibly strong.

We have more than 10 developers operating across 7 different suburbs in the City including Stockland, Satterley, LandCorp, Peet, PRM, Peron Group, QUBE, Cedar Woods and the Wallis Property Group.

All these developers are subdividing land and releasing lots to cater for the growing list of people wanting to live, and businesses wanting to be located, in the City of Armadale.

City of Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP said people are flocking into the City to create their homes as well as build their business.

“Due to the diversity of lot sizes on offer we are able to provide high quality, affordable living, investment and business options for the hundreds of people wanting to move into the City.

“In the last six months alone 1052 lots have been created, the highest amount ever released in the City.

“We need both the Federal and State Government to recognise the increasing importance and substantial growth occurring in the Southeast Metropolitan corridor and commit to the key infrastructure needed to support these new communities.

“Armadale Road to the Kwinana Freeway, the Armadale Justice Precinct, Tonkin Highway extension and commuter rail link to Byford are all needed to deliver the quality living environment enjoyed in other parts of the metropolitan area”, said Mayor Zelones.
