The City of Armadale is currently reviewing the City’s Major Arts and Events calendar and is conducting a survey to gauge the demand for, and popularity of, each event.

The survey asks respondents for information such as which type of events they would like to see more of, what the City could improve on with each event and an overall rating of each major event.

Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones said the City had long been aware that the fast growing multicultural community of Armadale has an ever changing demographic, and there may be a requirement for different types of events.

“It’s also important for the new communities in Forrestdale and Piara Waters to have input into what type of events they would like to see happening in the City of Armadale.

“Survey responses will help determine the current level of demand for the current Major Arts and Events on the City’s calendar.

“Results from the City’s survey will give a preliminary picture of residents’ views and they will provide important information for the Major Arts and Events Review that is currently underway,” said Mayor Zelones.

The survey can be found in the What’s New section on the City’s website www.armadale.wa.gov.au until close of business on Thursday 31 July 2014.
