The City of Armadale’s free Concerts in the Park series provides the local community with free musical entertainment at some of the City’s most picturesque parks.
The next concert is scheduled for Sunday 9 March, from 5 to 6.30pm at Memorial Park, Armadale.
Located on Jull Street, close to Armadale’s shopping centres and cafes, Memorial Park boasts large grassed areas with shady trees, toilets, a children’s adventure playground and amphitheatre seating - perfect for an outdoor concert.
City of Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones said every year the concerts have proven very popular and we expect that to continue on Sunday March 9.
“I encourage everyone to make the most of our beautiful weather and pack a picnic rug and bring the kids, family and friends to join us for this fun-filled community celebration.
“Sit back in a family oriented environment while you enjoy the great music from the Armadale City Concert Band as they play some energetic tunes that are sure to prove a hit with people of all ages,” said Mayor Zelones.
The band is ranked number one concert band in WA and has a great selection of numbers to perform on the evening with songs from Grease and Queen in Concert and highlights from the Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean and Toy Story to mention a few.
