The City of Armadale is inviting applications from community organisations seeking funds for programs which benefit the local community.

Annually the City contributes more than $150,000 towards community focused initiatives which service Armadale residents.

The City welcomes applications from a variety of non-profit organisations including community service providers and groups associated with community welfare, education, arts and culture, youth, seniors, children and families, sporting, and other community building activities.

In previous years funding has assisted organisations to provide community services, coordinate programs and purchase new equipment.

The provision of funding from the City encourages local groups and organisations to continue to provide invaluable opportunities for the Armadale community.

There are two categories which a community organisation may apply for:

Annual Contributions – up to $25,000
Applications will be received from 10 February until 7 March 2014.

Community Grants – up to $1,000
Applications will be received from 7 April until 2 May 2014.
