Local and visiting children will be spoilt for choice at the City of Armadale’s Australia Day alcohol free event this year, being held at Minnawarra Park and surrounds on Friday 26 January 2018 between 5pm and 9.30pm.

They can cool down at the purpose-built Water Fun Zone at Memorial Park, with plenty of free water play options available for all ages, and a great spot to view the fireworks from.

Mayor Henry Zelones OAM JP said Australia Day in Armadale promises to deliver fun for the whole family, especially the children.

“Australia Day is the perfect opportunity to spend some family time, in the heart of our community, especially with so many attractions and activities on offer,” Mayor Zelones said.

There will also be many other activities such as Go Karts and a Race Car Slide and free sports activities with Daniel Kerr.

Children may also like to experience a carnival ride or two, plus there will be plenty of food providers available.

“As with previous years, there will be a spectacular fireworks display commencing at 8.30pm, with many great locations at the event from which to view,” Mayor Zelones said.
