Fancy a cool $2500 to spend in the City this summer?

Celebrate at summer events in Armadale City Centre for the chance to win a huge $2500 to help you through the season or get the kids back to school with everything they need.

There are always plenty of reasons to visit the Armadale City Centre during the summer season and The Dale Does Summer will reward one lucky shopper who best captures their summer in the City experience.

Following the successful The Dale does Xmas promotion that saw one lucky resident walk away with a $2500 Christmas shopping spree, The Dale Does Summer will reward residents who visit the Armadale City Centre during the summer season.

Take advantage of the City’s calendar of summer activities and events, snap plenty of photos, and post your best one (or more) online to be in the running for the major prize or a handful of ‘Day Out in Armadale’ spot prizes that include double passes to the cinema, free admission to the Armadale Aquatic Centre, and lunch and smoothie vouchers.

To enter, take a photo of yourself, others, or a landscape in the city centre, upload it to Instagram or the City of Armadale Facebook page and hashtag #TheDale for the chance to win.

The winners will be chosen for the photo that shows creativity and best captures summer in the City.

You can see ‘#TheDale does Summer’ events on the City’s website and Facebook page, and in local newspapers from January to February.

16 - 20 January 2017	11am to 2pm	Critters Up Close	Armadale Central Shopping Centre	Get up close and personal with some of Australia’s most fascinating and misunderstood critters.
16 - 20 January 2017	11am to 2pm	Slime-In-Stein Workshop	Armadale Shopping City, outside Target	Calling all budding scientists! Don your lab coat and come and create your own personal slime.
26 January 2017	5pm to 9.30pm	Australia Day in Armadale	Minnawarra Park	In an annual tradition, celebrate Australia Day with a jam-packed evening of festivities and fireworks at Minnawarra Park. Join us for a picnic across the parks and indulge in activities including the water fun park and carnival.
