Caltex on Armadale Road, located within the Forrestdale Business Park, officially opened for business on Wednesday 30 July.

The fuel station is the first business to start operating on the Armadale Road frontage of the Forrestdale Business Park.

The Caltex, located on the corner of Armadale Road and Alex Wood Drive, will provide a much needed fuel service station for residents and commuters travelling along Armadale Road. The Caltex store will be equipped with a full convenience store which includes a bakery and coffee facility, multi-product pumps, full truck canopy including XLA Diesel and Vortex Diesel, Adblue on the bowser and an outdoor payment terminal which is coming soon.

“There are more than 15,740 (west of Ranford Road 2012/13) vehicles travelling along Armadale Road every day,” said Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP.

“Forrestdale Business Park will soon be home to a Hungry Jacks outlet, situated next door to the Caltex, with construction already well underway.

“There are also five showrooms currently under construction along Armadale Road at the corner of Hensbrook Loop, which will soon be open for business. This development sprung up out of the ground within a week, and it is very exciting to see this area being activated.

“The development of the new businesses is expected to create jobs in the local area and act as an economic stimulus for the region.

“The Forrestdale Business Park is an integral part of the City’s economic development strategy which will attract a range of businesses into the area.

“We anticipate 15,000 new jobs to be created at Forrestdale Business Park when build out is complete.

“Businesses and developers are attracted to the affordable and diverse lot sizes as well as the proximity to major transport routes including Armadale Road and Tonkin Highway,” he said.

Caltex is simply one of many multi-nationals who are investing in the City of Armadale and making the most of the prime industrial land we have available.
