Round one of the City’s Community Grants Program 2015 – 2016 will open on 31 August.

The City welcomes applications from a variety of not-for profit organisations that wish to receive funding for projects which benefit the local community.

Previous grants have been awarded to community service providers and groups that are associated with arts, youth, seniors, families and sport.

Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP encourages organisations to apply for grants up to $1000 before 25 September.

“These grants are a great opportunity for community groups to access funding to carry out small projects, provide information or training programs or purchase materials.

“The previous year’s funding has enabled such associations to purchase first aid supplies, promotional materials and other much needed equipment,” he said.

For more information and to discuss the project and confirm eligibility call the Community Development Support Officer on 9394 5000 or email info@armadale.wa.gov.au.
