The City of Armadale is calling for registrations of interest by Friday 1 November for local groups to be part of the 24th annual 2019 Carols by Candlelight and Christmas Parade.
Community groups of all types and sizes are encouraged to submit their Christmas themed ideas for celebratory dress, audience participation or performance activities for inclusion in the annual Christmas Parade, occurring Friday 6 December 2019.
Over 20 groups participated last year, showcasing their local groups to an audience of around 7,000 local residents and their family members and friends.
The parade will take approximately one hour where groups and entertainers will traverse up Jull Street to Memorial Park. Groups will be followed by Santa Clause who will welcome everyone to the Carols by Candlelight celebrations commencing in the park after the parade at 7pm.
Past groups have included diverse organisations and clubs such as Showtime HMS Performing Arts, Armadale Kelmscott Lions Club, Kelmscott Junior Football Club, Carradine Choir, Just Brass Armadale and Cecil Andrews Armadale Police Rangers to name a few.
