The City of Armadale is inviting local businesses to attend their Business Armadale showcase event at the Armadale Visitor Centre on Wednesday 15 June, from 6 to 8pm.
Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP said the City’s Visitor Centre not only promotes the region but provides an opportunity for local businesses to showcase their products and services.
“We are encouraging everyone from home based businesses to larger businesses to join us on the evening and see how the Visitor Centre is promoting the region to build a strong tourism economy.
“The Visitor Centre is much more than just maps and brochures. It provides information on upcoming events in the region, tours, details on accommodation and restaurants and natural attractions in the region to thousands of visitors throughout the year.
“A number of businesses that have gold membership with the centre have already come on board to promote their wares and services through the Visitor Centre and get their business name or brand recognised by visitors to the region.
“Tourism is everybody’s business when visitors are considering their next holiday destination and when we host them in Armadale.
“We are also helping businesses develop with core industry bodies as part of our membership benefits into the future.
“Representatives from Avocados Cafe, Araluen Golf Resort, Araluen Botanic Park and Bella Hair and Day Spa will be on hand during this showcase evening to provide an insight into how the partnership with the City is working for them”, he said.
The business showcase event is free to Business Armadale members or $12 for non-members. Light refreshments will be available.
