If cute and cuddly animals make your children’s eyes light up, don’t miss the next Better Beginnings workshop Barn Babes at the City of Armadale’s Seville Grove Library on Friday 28 March.

The City of Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones said the City’s Library Service coordinates the Better Beginnings family literacy program, which is delivered to families with preschool children, as part of a State wide program.

“The workshops are hosted at the City’s libraries each school term and give parents a chance to hear from guest speakers about child development and learn about a wonderful range of books, toys and activities that are available from the library.

“This is a great chance to spend some quality time with your children as they explore nature.

“They have the opportunity to interact and get up close to pat and feed some small animals - such as an alpaca and pig as well as other small animals that will be visiting the library,” said Mayor Zelones.

The Barn Babes sessions will run at 10, 10.30 and 11am at the Seville Grove Library on Friday 28 March.

As these sessions are so popular, it is essential to make bookings for your children well in advance so you don’t miss out.

Contact the library on 9399 0800 to reserve your place.
