There’s no excuse for children getting bored and restless during the school holidays with lots of activities available daily at the City of Armadale’s History House Museum.

These free activities are available for the whole family to enjoy every day that the Museum is open, from Tuesday 11 to Sunday 23 April.

Kids will enjoy craft activities such as decorating and creating colourful leaves, making Anzac Day poppies and even an Easter trail hunt.

If your children enjoy being creative they’re going to love decorating leaves to add to our museum tree. They even get to take some colourful leaves home to take pride of place on your fridge.

Children will enjoy the challenge as they follow clues to search for letters throughout the museum that make up a word related to our new exhibition. Then they get to claim an Easter egg prize from one of our friendly staff.

Poppies are now worn on Anzac Day, as well as Remembrance Day, in recognition of the service men and women who lost their lives. The kids will love making one to proudly wear on this very special day.

Parents or carers must stay with their child during these events. Bookings are not required, all materials are supplied.

History House Museum is located at 7 Orchard Avenue, Armadale. They are open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10am – 4pm and on weekends and Public Holidays, 1 – 4pm.
