Hone your writing skills in a workshop with Norman Jorgensen

Do you want to pen your best story for the Armadale Young Writer’s Awards?

Young writers will have an opportunity to gain some writing tips from award winning Western Australian author Norman Jorgensen at three writing workshops at the Armadale Library during May.

City of Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP said the one hour workshops are open to students in years three to 12 who reside, or attend school, in the City of Armadale.

“Whether you want to sharpen your skills or gain some writing tips from an award winning author ahead of the Armadale Young Writers’ Awards competition in June, this is a great opportunity to do so.

“We are privileged to have Norman present these workshops. He has written over a dozen books for children and young adults including The Last Viking and The Smuggler’s Curse.”

Places are limited and bookings are essential. To confirm eligibility and to book your place, call the Armadale Library on 9394 5125.
