Residents and attendees of the Armadale Arts Festival are being encouraged to offer their feedback on this year's event, to help with next year's planning.
The popular Festival is over for another year, with more than 40 activities and events held throughout May, transforming Armadale into a creative mecca with offers of music, literature and of course art.
Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP said the Armadale Arts Festival is always a wonderful addition to the City's event calendar, bringing artists, art enthusiasts and our community together for a creative program like no other.
“It really is a Festival hosted by the community for the community, with so many fantastic activities on offer, including those that value add to our City, such as Rediscover Armadale which has provided us with five new murals around the CBD created by artists from around the State, Country, and even New Zealand, including local artist Bradley Kickett,” Mayor Zelones said.
Highlights of the Festival have included Fridays@Hidden, featuring live music at Hidden Specialty Coffee in Kelmscott, another captivating edition of the Minnawarra Art Awards and Positive Ageing High Teas attended by many young at heart members of the community.
