These school holidays (25 Sept-6 Oct), all the fun is in Armadale, with an array of activities on offer from origami to a safe driver workshop.

On Monday 25 September, Communicare will deliver a Safe Driver Workshop available free of charge to eligible participants, who will also receive a small amount of financial assistance towards driving tuition after successfully completing the workshop.

Armadale based headspace will offer mindful colouring and giant jenga on Tuesday 26 September, and host an Origami workshop on Wednesday 27 September, designed for 12 to 25 year olds. During the second week, they will offer a slam poetry workshop on Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 October, where participants will learn the art of spoken word poetry.

For basketball enthusiasts, the City of Armadale in partnership with Skateboarding WA will present a skate clinic on Friday 29 September, incorporating games and demonstrations designed for participants of all ages and skill levels.

The Armadale Library will get in on the school holiday action with a song writing workshop on Tuesday 3 October, which is free for 12-17 year olds, designed for budding song writers.

If song writing is not your thing, but you are currently job hunting, Communicare will host a job talk workshop on the same day, free to eligible participants.
