Community organisations are invited to apply for up to $25,000 in funding towards community focused initiatives through the City of Armadale's Annual Contributions Program from Monday 2 July.
Applications are welcome from a variety of non-profit organisations including community service providers and groups associated with community welfare, education, arts and culture, youth, seniors, children and families, sporting and other community building activities.
City of Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP said the City boasts a number of community groups and organisations that deliver wonderful services to our community.
“We have a wide variety of local groups and organisations in the City that provide amazing programs that support the community. We continue to be committed to supporting these groups in delivering these services.
“Last year the Annual Contributions fund was awarded to a variety of programs that provide community support including; the Australian Association for Environmental Education WA, Bedfordale Connect, Armadale Robotics Club, Constable Care Child Safety Foundation and the Wirrapanda Foundation.”
To be eligible to apply for funding, organisations are required to attend one of two workshops.
Session one – Wednesday 20 June, 2 – 3pm
Session two – Wednesday 27 June, 6 – 7pm
To attend a session, email info@armadale.wa.gov.au or contact Community Development on 9394 5000 by Monday 18 June and Monday 25 June respectively for each workshop.
