2018-2021 Curator - Ron Nyisztor

Ron Nyisztor has been exhibiting since 1989 locally, interstate and overseas. His paintings are held in numerous private and corporate collections and have also been awarded best in show and highly commended. Nyisztor Studio ARI has been directed by Ron since 2006 and is committed to a program to showcase West Australian artists, metropolitan and regional, seeking to developing a wider audience and appreciation for the visual arts. 

2017 Curator - Robert Buratti

Robert Buratti has operated nationally and internationally for over 18 years specialising in artist and collection management and curation. Having curated major touring exhibitions at the National Trust of Australia in Sydney, S.H Ervin Gallery, Devonport Regional Gallery, Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery amongst many others as well as consulting on exhibitions at New York University; Robert is once again turning his hand to the Minnawarra Art Awards.

With other hidden talents Robert was also the President of the Friends of the Art Gallery of WA, a previous Editor of Artifacts Magazine (Art Gallery of WA), a member and sponsor of The Blake Society, and his writing has been published in Artist Profile magazine, Australian Art Review, Raw Vision (NY), Missoolsidae (Korea) and The Australian newspaper amongst many others.

Having completed his Bachelor of Arts at Macquarie University, Robert continued on to a Master of Arts Administration at the College of Fine Arts, Sydney and in the continued educational endeavor he is currently undertaking higher research at University of Western Australia.

As an artist Roberts work has been named a finalist in the Doug Moran Prize, Black Swan Portrait Prize, Albany Art Prize, Brisbane Art Prize, Cossack Art Awards, Lethbridge10000 Prize, and has been exhibited regularly across Australia, US and China.
