With reference to the proposed abovementioned development previously advertised for comment, the City has received a third revision for assessment.

As a result of feedback from submissions and technical assessment, the following amendments have been made to the proposed single house and ancillary accommodation:

  • Revised external colours and materials including walls with a combination of rendered finished in colour ‘dewkist’ and horizontal weatherboard in colour ‘WA white’;

  • An additional verandah on the secondary street frontage with a minimum setback of 5m (in lieu of the 6m deemed-to-comply provision of the State Planning Policy 7.3 Residential Design Codes);

  • A change in shape to the proposed second garage that results in a minimum side setback of 5m (in lieu of the requirement for a minimum of 6m as per the City’s Town Planning Scheme); and

  • The provision of a 3D impression of the development.
