The Perth Observatory - past, present and future

The Perth Observatory has been serving Western Australia for 123 years. The presentation covers:

  • The Observatory’s history of time keeping and proud record of scientific achievement.
  • The telescopes which are used to map the sky, keep track of Mars for NASA and, more recently, discover exoplanets.
  • How the Observatory provides a view of the Southern skies to all their visitors.
