The City’s Waste team invites you to join presenter Robyn Brown for this talk on How to Compost Your Way to Zero Food Waste.

Learn how to use all types of compost bins, or set up a bay to compost food and garden waste at home.

In these sessions, you will learn:

• How to use composting bins, tumblers and bays
• How to use worm tubes and worm farms
• How to compost using bokashi

Robyn has a lifelong interest in waste and reusing, having worked as a Waste Education Officer, helping people to reduce waste and now runs her own business - Waste Is My Resource.

Robyn has a knack of making things simple, using what you have at hand, and great tips for troubleshooting on your journey to becoming an experienced composter!

Composting Rebate

Residents who have attended a composting workshop (How to Compost Your Way to Zero Food Waste), run by the City of Armadale, may be eligible to apply to Waste Services rebate up to $50.00, back if they purchase composting units.

Rebates are subject to the terms and conditions of the application and are not available to residents who have not attended a composting workshop.
