Caring for a loved one
The impact of caring for a loved one and the value of counselling
If you are someone who provides unpaid care and support to a family member or friend living with a disability, mental health challenge, long term health condition, substance dependency or who is frail aged, you are a carer and Carers WA may be able to support you.
Whilst providing care can be a rewarding experience, we understand that it can sometimes be challenging and it is important that you take care of yourself too.
In this information session, a dedicated Carer Support Counsellor from Carers WA will discuss some of the common impacts experienced by carers and the practical ways counselling can work to support your own health and wellbeing.
This session is open to adults of all ages.
Places are limited and bookings are essential.
Please notify the library if you are unable to attend after booking.
