In an annual Australian tradition, join us at our alcohol and smoke free Australia Day, a jam-packed evening of festivities and a spectacular fireworks display, proudly supported by Lotterywest.

Secure your spot early in Memorial or Minnawarra Park, and embrace the great community atmosphere in this family friendly event.

With plenty of activities for all ages such as carnival rides, a free family activity area, a variety of food stalls to tempt your taste buds and a full program of live music showcasing some of our incredible local talent! 

At 8.30pm, the highlight of the evening begins as a spectacular fireworks display is played to the all Australian soundtrack, broadcasted by Heritage FM local radio on 107.3 FM.

Don’t forget to stick around after the fireworks to see who this year’s fabulous tribute act will be – the perfect way to finish your evening!

Please note, for the safety of your furry friend and the public, dogs are not permitted at this event unless it is a service dog.

Event Accessibility

• ACROD parking is available on Neerigen Street – permits must be displayed
• Additional Tables and chairs in the food court area on Orchard Avenue
• Additional seating will be available at the stage area
• Accessible toilets available at each toilet location and accessible from footpaths.
• There will be a Quiet Zone available for those who need to escape the crowds – located on Minnawarra Park opposite the carnival rides
• Memorial park is a quieter and shady area to enjoy the event and watch the fireworks from
• Free drinking water will be available
• Heritage FM will be broadcasting live from the event through 107.3fm, this includes the fireworks soundtrack at 8.30pm.
