The Drop 'n' Shop is all about resource conservation, creativity and giving new life to discarded items.
Located at the Armadale Landfill and Recycling Facility, Lot 600 Hopkinson Road Hilbert, the Drop 'n' Shop provides savvy shoppers the opportunity to minimise waste going to landfill and also find a bargain.
Staffed by a team of volunteers and operated by the City of Armadale, the shop aims to return useable items to the community, rather than sending to landfill.
Take usable items to the Drop ‘n’ Shop for free and help conserve the environment. Refurbishing and reusing household items and discarded building materials conserves raw materials and saves energy compared to producing new products.
All items are sold 'as is' and may not be fit for their original purpose. They can become part of something new and innovative. Some creativity can save you money.
A wide range of items are accepted, including furniture, kitchenware, garden items, bric-a-brac, building materials, equipment, tools, bikes, toys, books and clothing.
Tyres, mattresses, computers or carpet are not accepted.
