The City’s Community Development team works with individuals, groups, non-profit organisations, service providers and government agencies to assist in fulfilling community needs and aspirations.
The team can help connect you with local groups, organisations and service providers to identify sources of funding for a community project or event. Contact the Community Development Support Officer on 9394 5642 or email@example.com for assistance with your enquiry.
The City is committed to assisting individuals, groups and organisations which provide services and support to residents of the City of Armadale.
The City will consider requests for financial assistance in the form of a:
- Community Grant

The City of Armadale offers support to community organisations, groups and individuals through various avenues.
Sporting, Recreation and Development Donations
Individuals who have been selected to represent the State or Nation in an interstate or overseas competition in a sport, recreational, educational or arts activity are eligible for one donation per financial year.
Please complete the Donation Application form and return before your selection travel date.

Armadale community groups are invited to apply for a donation to support one-off projects that benefit the local community.
If you would like to know if you are eligible for a donation, contact the Community Development Team on 9394 5000.
Community Grants Round 1, 2019 / 2020 will open Monday 2 September and close 4:30pm Tuesday 1 October 2019.
The City of Armadale offers support to incorporated community groups and not-for-profit organisations through the Community Grants Program in two rounds per financial year. Community groups can apply for grants from $1000 up to $5000 depending on category, for projects that benefit the local community. To be eligible to apply, community groups are required to discuss their project with a member of the Community Development team by Monday 23 September.
Community grants are available in the following categories:
- Equipment: Maximum community grant allocation is $1,000 per application (the City’s funding will not exceed 50% of the total project budget and the 50% must be matched by a cash contribution for this category)
- Community Event or Project (one-off): Maximum community grant allocation is $2,500 per application (the City’s funding will not exceed 50% of the total project budget, which can include estimates of volunteer and in-kind contributions)
- Community Project (Extended Program): Maximum community grant allocation is $5,000 per application (the City’s funding will not exceed 50% of the total project budget, which can include estimates of volunteer and in-kind contributions)
To register your interest, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 9394 5651 by Monday 23 September 2019 to allow sufficient time to discuss the project before the closing date on Tuesday 1 October 2019.

Each year the City of Armadale provides a $165 scholarship to one high achieving student, nominated by the Principal, from each high school in the area. For more information contact your local high school.
