The City’s Community Development team works with individuals, groups, non-profit organisations, service providers and government agencies to assit in fulfilling community needs and aspirations.
The team can help connect you with local groups, organisations and service providers and identify sources of funding for a community project or event. Contact the Community Development Support Officer on 9394 5642 or firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance with your enquiry.
The City is committed to assisting individuals, groups and organisations which provide services and support to residents of the City of Armadale.
The City will consider requests for financial assistance in the form of a:
- Community Grant
- Annual Contribution

The City allocates a small number of annual contributions to support non-profit organisations to provide services and activities which benefit City of Armadale residents.
Applications opened on 19 July 2017.
The closing date for these applications is 30 August 2017.
Compulsory workshops for community groups wishing to apply for the funding round 2017 - 2018 were held on:
- Wed 19 July 2 - 3pm
- Wed 26 July 6 - 7pm
Opening: 14 August
Closing: 27 September
Community groups can apply for grants up to $1,000 for projects that benefit the local community.
To be eligible to apply, community groups are required to make contact with a member of the Community Services team to discuss their project.

Each year the City of Armadale provides a $165 scholarship to one high achieving student, nominated by the Principal, from each high school in the area. For more information contact your local high school.
