The City’s Community Development team works with individuals, groups, non-profit organisations, service providers and government agencies to assit in fulfilling community needs and aspirations.
The team can help connect you with local groups, organisations and service providers and identify sources of funding for a community project or event. Contact the Community Development Support Officer on 9394 5642 or email@example.com for assistance with your enquiry.
The City is committed to assisting individuals, groups and organisations which provide services and support to residents of the City of Armadale.
The City will consider requests for financial assistance in the form of a:
- Community Grant
- Annual Contribution

The City allocates a small number of annual contributions to support non-profit organisations to provide services and activities which benefit City of Armadale residents.
Compulsory workshops for community groups wishing to apply for the funding round 2016-2017 were held on April 20 and 21.
The closing date for these applications is 20 May 2016.
Community groups can apply for grants up to $1000 for projects that benefit the local community. A copy of the City’s Financial Assistance Policy can be found on the City's website. The City has revised its Financial Assistance Policy and it is now essential for community groups to attend a community workshop to be eligible to apply for the City’s community grants.
Two community workshops have been scheduled, to be held at the City of Armadale Administration Building, 7 Orchard Avenue, Armadale.
Session One - Tuesday 30 August 3-4pm
Session Two - Tuesday 30 August 6-7pm

Community Grant Flyer
Each year the City of Armadale provides a $165 scholarship to one high achieving student, nominated by the Principal, from each high school in the area. For more information contact your local high school.
