Anstey-Keane Urban Development Precinct – North West Structure Plan

Closes:
Tuesday, 5 March 2019 - 4.45pm

The City advises that it has received the above mentioned proposed Structure Plan to guide subdivision and development on Lots 101 (No.89), 552, 200 (No.67) and 91 (No.53) Anstey Road, Forrestdale.

The Structure Plan proposes Residential land use for the above lots at densities ranging from R30 to R60, public open space, buffers to environmental assets, corridors for existing significant service infrastructure and a portion of the location for a future senior-sized playing field and community facility.

Advertising of the Structure Plan follows an amendment to the state government’s Metropolitan Region Scheme September 2016 (MRS 1290/57) to rezone the Anstey Keane Urban Development (West) Precinct from ‘Rural’ to ‘Urban’. It also follows the City’s advertising of Town Planning Scheme No.4 (‘TPS No.4’) Amendment No.96 to rezone the Anstey Keane Urban Development Precinct to ‘Urban Development’ under TPS No.4. Amendment No. 96 is anticipated to be presented to Council for final adoption in early 2019, after which it will be forwarded to the Western Australian Planning Commission (‘WAPC’) for its recommendation to the Minister for Planning.

Plans and documents setting out and explaining the Structure Plan have been deposited at the City of Armadale offices (7 Orchard Avenue, Armadale) and will be available for inspection 8.15am - 4.45pm Monday-Friday. Details of the Structure Plan can also be viewed and downloaded from the links below.
