Free native plants for residents

The City of Armadale is once again holding its annual Plants for Residents event, this year at Minnawarra Park, enabling residents to green their properties and verge areas whilst supporting the City's local natural environment and Urban Forest for free.

Despite Perth's long, hot, dry summers, you can have a garden that looks great and saves you money by selecting up to 10 plants* from the many native species on offer.

Come and speak to one of our experts about the best native plants for your garden and how to care for them.

Thousands of seedlings comprising a variety of trees/shrubs/herbs species will be available to choose from on the day. Afterwards, grab a hot dog from the Lions Club or a cuppa from one of the many cafes within the Armadale City Centre.

No need to register just bring your current proof of residency in the City of Armadale and photo ID and you will be eligible to choose up to 10 seedlings*.

*A limit of 10 seedlings applies to each eligible property within the City of Armadale.
