Acts of Kindness in Armadale

Acts of Kindness in Armadale is a project that encourages everyone to spread kindness. The City have designed a community kindness card (available to download below) to distribute throughout the community and invite people to get involved in sharing the message and doing acts of kindness.

The card explains the benefits of kindness and some simple ideas of how to do an act of kindness for yourself or for someone else.

Being kind or helping someone can:

  • Brighten someone’s day
  • Boost your mood
  • Reduce your stress levels.

The Acts of Kindness in Armadale project was originally launched on the 13th of November 2022, in line with World Kindness Day. Following the success of the project, the City are once again running the project in 2023, in line with Mental Health Week and throughout the month of October. From October, Acts of Kindness in Armadale cards will be available for visitors attending City community facilities and participating local businesses listed below. The cards will embedded with seeds, making them plantable - an act of kindness from us to you.

The City invites you to get involved in the Acts of Kindness in Armadale project by doing acts of kindness for yourself or for others.
