Immunisation and Disease Control

The City offers a free immunisation program which provides vaccinations against a range of diseases in accordance with the WA Department of Health's recommended schedule.

The City's Health Department is also responsible for the investigation of notifications of infectious diseases within the municipality.

The City's Environmental Health Officers also conduct regular inspections of hairdressers, tattooists and other similar businesses with the potential to affect public health and for which there are regulatory standards.
