U fit
Release Date:
Tuesday, 27 October 2015

The City of Armadale is launching U Fit - Park Edition, an exciting new initiative that aims to get our community active, outdoors and utilising our parks and reserves.

U Fit – Park Edition provides the community with work-outs that can be undertaken using the facilities available in most parks around the City.

“Being active doesn’t have to cost you a thing and U Fit allows you to fit in your workout whilst you kids are playing their regular outdoor sports, or your younger ones are playing at the local playground,” said Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM, JP.

“The program has three levels to cater for all participants. So whether you are just starting your fitness journey or you are a seasoned fitness hero, U Fit – Park Edition has something for you.

“To launch the U Fit – Park Edition series the City of Armadale will be running free outdoor group exercise classes during November and December.

“As an incentive to get out and active the first 20 residents who register will receive a U Fit participant pack, which includes a month’s membership at Armadale Arena, gym towel, water bottle and recipe book,” he said.
