The City of Armadale will be providing a professional development workshop for artists, to foster art in our community.

The two day workshop will be held on 9 and 16 May, 9.30am to 4pm at Armadale District Hall, corner Jull Street and Orchard Avenue, Armadale.

Highly regarded arts and media consultant Paula Silbert will show artists how to market themselves and their work in the media industry.

The workshop will focus on developing promotional materials, how to present to the media and the public, and how to professionally market your work.

Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM JP said Ms Silbert is a renowned arts consultant, curator and media personality.

“Paula has an abundance of experience in the media and arts industry. She works with emerging and established practitioners and has advised the Art Gallery of WA, Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts, Mungart Boodja Arts Centre, tertiary institutions and galleries.
