Community Crime Profiles

Community Crime Profiles are available to those local governments who have signed a Partnership Agreement with the Office of Crime Prevention to establish a Community Safety and Crime Prevention Plan.

Information about the local community and local crime statistics are essential to develop strategies to tackle crime and improve safety in our communities. Community Crime Profiles help local communities to:

• Identify and prioritise crime issues in the local area, and
• Assess crime rates and demographic information in the context of their region and the state

Crime Profiles are just one of a range of tools that can be used for planning purposes.
