What day is my recycling bin emptied?

Recycling services are provided fortnightly, on the same day as your rubbish bin collection.

Your recycling area is listed on your rates notice, as either Area 1 or Area 2. Refer to the Recycling collection map (PDF 282 KB). If you are not sure contact the City's Waste Services Department on 9399 0124. Bins must be placed on the verge by 7am on the day of collection.

My recycling bin is broken, the yellow lid is missing, a wheel has fallen off...

My recycling bin day was today and it has not been emptied

Contact Cleanaway on 9449 3349. While your bin will usually be collected around the same time of day each fortnight, times can vary. Please ensure your bin is out on the verge by 7am and if it has not been emptied by 4pm please contact Cleanaway.

I've just received my new telephone books - where can I recycle the old ones?

Remove the cardboard flaps, and place your telephone books in your recycle bin. The covers can be placed into the bin too.
