Ratepayers may pay their rates in full by the due date 30 September 2011

Ratepayers may choose to pay their rates over two instalments.

The cost for this option includes an administration charge of $10.00 and an interest charge calculated at 5.5% pa (calculated daily). Pensioners and seniors are exempt from these fees and charges.

Please note: payments that are not made by the due date will also attract a late payment interest charge of 11% pa (calculated daily). The ratepayer forfeits the right to pay by the two instalment option if the whole first instalment is not paid by 30 September 2011.

The cost for this option includes an administration charge of $30.00 (ie $10.00 each for payments 2, 3 and 4) and an interest charge calculated at 5.5% pa (calculated daily). Pensioners and seniors are exempt from these fees and charges.

Ratepayers may also make special arrangements with the City to pay their rates:

Current and arrears
Current and arrears payments can be made by direct debit on a Friday either weekly, fortnightly or monthly. An administration charge of $42.00 is applicable and a late payment interest rate of 11%.

Pay by yearly direct debit - "A Smarter Way to Pay" (from April to March)
Payments by direct debit can be made either weekly, fortnightly or monthly. No administration charge or penalty interest applies. The ratepayer will incur a dishonour payment fee of $7.00 per dishonour.
