Parking

In order to provide a safe parking environment the City's Rangers regularly patrol the municipality to ensure all residents and visitors comply with the City's Parking Local Laws (PDF 257 KB).

The City's Rangers monitor footpaths, verges, ACROD bays, schools and timed parking in the area.

Safety around schools

To protect the safety of school children City Rangers regularly check around schools to ensure cars are parked sensibly. Motorists are advised to observe traffic restrictions and parking notices. Infringement Notices will be issued to offending motorists.

Off-road vehicles

Off-road vehicles generate noise and environmental complaints and are required to be registered unless used exclusively on private land. Off-road vehicles can only be driven/ridden in permitted areas and on private property with the landowner's consent.
