Health

The role of the City of Armadale's Health Department is to ensure that residents and visitors to Armadale enjoy a clean, safe and low risk environment. The Department provides a wide range of services directed at the maintenance, promotion and improvement of public and environmental health. These services are grouped into the following broad program areas:

The City's Environmental Health Officers regularly inspect food outlets within the municipality. They conduct a regular food sampling program, analysing a broad range of food for sale against the requirements of the National Food Standards Code. The City also participates in the State Food Monitoring Program coordinated by the WA Department of Health.
