House Plans and Approval Services
The City has building plans dating back to the 1960's, although over time some records deteriorated before they could be preserved on microfiche and are no longer available. You will need to make application to Building Services to obtain a copy of your house plans; if they are available.
If you are selling your property and need to find out what licences have been issued you can make application for a building approval enquiry, this is a comprehensive search of the City’s archive records. Please allow sufficient time to have these completed before settlement.
Pricing for copies of larger plans greater than A3 are by application and are as per Planning Services - Schedule of Fees and Charges (PDF 37.9 KB).
The table below outlines associated costs (all prices inclusive of GST).
