How do I ensure my green waste is collected?
- Ensure trimmed tree branches are a maximum of 1.5m (5 feet) and 150mm (6 inches) in diameter.
- Place branches in neat piles with cut ends towards the street.
- Place lawn clippings, leaves and cuttings in cardboard boxes with your property address clearly marked on them. Do not use plastic bags.
- When placing your green waste on the verge please do not obstruct the footpath, sprinkler systems or interrupt your normal bin service.
The diagram below illustrates how your green waste should be set out.
